Last Weekend Tree Decorating. pt. 2

The best ornament on the tree is me! My girl (sister) made it for grammy
last christmas as a gift.
This is the first year it's on the tree.
It's my debut!

Last Weekend Tree Decorating. pt. 1

We decorated our fake tree last sunday.
This tree is the same tree my girl and boy grew up decorating!
It has tons of history to it.
I think my mom also had it when she was a kid.
And that star, is like no other star.
When it warms up, it spins, and shoots colors all over the walls.
My grandpa got it when mom was a little little girl.
For just $5!

At the top of the tree go the M & M lights.
Then at the bottom the bell lights. These also play music.
my girl LOVES these.
Everyone else wants to turn them off.

Here are the ornaments!
They always load up this tree.

Look at all of those!

Ahhh the rain!
Mom grew up with tinsel because her dad loved it.
And she loves it.
My girl likes it- but because of the cats, won't get it, because she KNOWS they will eat it.
And she has known many people to lose cats due to this issue.

Last weekend recap.

Lets just say there was a WHOLE lot of BEN.
it was disgusting how much ben there was.

He kept stealing my toys. And my ball.

Even had an eye on MY parents.
REALLY ben?!

there he is watching my mom who was right beyond the fence.
I was glad he couldn't reach her.
HA!

So instead, he settled for my dad.

He's a people hog.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello Everyone!

Today, is a day to give thanks.

First, i would love to say thank you to my family. To all the care they give me.

To my grandma who always is there to feed me, because her silly little head thinks i won't eat if she doesn't hand feed me or play cookies with me.
It gives her happiness in her day to do that with me.
Even though it can be a real pain in the butt sometimes, because now i'm spoiled rotten,
She loves me, and i am thankful for her always looking for me, and always worrying for me.

To my boy, for growing up. For being given this chance, for the grace, for being saved. We almost lost him a few years ago to Colitis, a battle he continues to fight. And although he is in remission right now, you never know when something could be waiting.
And i am thankful, that he is as healthy as he is right now.
That through it all he has found the strength to keep going, and grow from it.

To my dad, for all the special walkies.
For always letting me spit on his hats and socks as i steal them off his body.
To sneaking me snacks under the table even though it drives sister nuts.
For doing what HE thinks is in my best interest, thinking he is doing a good thing, even if he isn't, his heart is in the right place.
For building me my fence in my yard, and landscaping it beautifully and helping take care of my plants.

To my mom, for being there to help me all the time.
For helping me up and down the stairs, making sure i don't get stuck anywhere,
for catering to me when i need it. For sticking by me.
For knowing what's best for me, and caring enough about me to keep going with it.
For believing in me, and making sure she takes me on as many walks as she can.
Bringing water for me all the time, making sure i have special water that ben doesn't spit in.
And for keeping my toys away from ben. He's so spitty. And destroy-ee.

I am also thankful for friends.

I walk pretty well once i'm up and going.
I just am slightly tilted and may go more to one side.

But it won't stop me from being a happy girl!

But i enjoy walkies at any time of year.

Easy Sunday: Magic in the yard.

Remember those poinsettias dad planted that we gave gram last december?
Well, they turn green after a while in the yard.
