End of pool days

Now i'll show you what happens to the pool in fall. Just come right this way...make sure you watch your step! we can't have you falling in. You'd ruin the cover!



look at that. see. if you fell in, i can't get you out. Only squirrels and chipmunks can get across. Once a fat squirrel got stuck and mom had to skim him out.



So many leaves! They just nest in the bottom. Like its their new home. In the winter it ices over and it looks kind of cool.



These bushes have not been affected so much by the weather or bugs. Some have leaves that have been slightly chewed on. But, overall its still safe. This banana plant is doing very well. And provides nice shade.



I like that plant. Its nice. I like to sleep under it.



I would hate to fall in the water on the cover. that would NOT be nice. Another nice thing about the banana plant- it doesn't drop its leaves in the pool and create more work for me!



Would YOU want to fall in there? Or skim all those leaves?
