The mansion- revisited

Yesterday sister me and mom all went on another long walk! We visited the mansion again. It was so nice out we just had to go! And no one was around, so it was real nice to walk and not be bothered by anyone!

Here is a picture of the fountain out back.



Mom thinks it might've been a wading pool of some kind ages ago. This house has been here forever. They had lots and lots of money. But she thinks it might've been a pool because you can kind of see a rim inside that resembles some sort of seating.



I really thought i should go and try it out. I think that i could get a better idea of how it worked. mom doesn't seem to agree with me and my rational. She thinks i'm better outside of the water. It doesn't look THAT clean anyway. We're not so sure why though because they have weddings and receptions here, they should clean up the fountain. Its only a few feet from the house- and they could do a lot with it. Just take care of it some.



Sister just liked this plant thats growing out of the fountain. She thought it was kind of cool looking. Its nothing special, just a big green leaf. But its the only one like it in the whole pond.



Here are a bunch of big fish living in the pond. It's nothing like Maggie & Mitch's beautiful koi fish, but, the water is livable so i guess thats a good sign! They look like happy fish.



Here is a picture of the tree right next to the pond. Sister just liked the way the sun was hitting it. Its so wonderful what sunlight can do, and what kind of effects it can create on a simple object, like a tree. Most of the time because they're all around, you don't see much beauty in them, but, even the trees truly are beautiful. Sister loves taking pictures of them and flowers.



Here is a picture of the fountain and tree from closer to the mansion. See how nice looks? Imagine if they just cleaned up that nice fountain! Poor neglected thing. Sister has some sort of small smudge on the camera lens, but you can only see it at certain times, and she can't seem to get rid of it. We're not sure what that is. See it on the fountain in the light on the right?



Ah, the main event. Here's the mansion itself! Its so pretty with what they did to the terrace with the vines and flowers all growing in an arch over the walkway.



Here is an urn filled with flowers. Very nice. They take good care of everything that touches the actual mansion.
