Thoughts on a thursday: Me and my pumpkin

This is my pumpkin.
I love him.
I am thinking about how thankful i am for pumpkins.




I mean, they smell nice.
And they're good for animals.
Did you know that?




I like to look at him.




My pumpkin and i, shall be friends forever.




Mom will be carving him soon, so that he will have eyes to see me.

Tuesday Trouble

well. Not really.
Here i am smiling at my beautiful green lawn.
fall is just starting to hit back here.
It's like a whole other world.

I am very happy to be out in the cool air,
covered in the lovely sun.

The hardest thing about mondays.

Is picking the right toy to play with.
it's just not as simple as just picking up a toy.
this is years worth of toys piled in my old crate.

I think i only used this crate for a little while at night
and then, once i was trained, we never used it again.
except of course for toys.
AND i've given a bunch of them to the shelter.
or to ben.

Maybe i want to play with snowman?
i took all my christmas toys out.
i do this every fall before christmas.
Mom thinks i'm just that smart.
Well. I am.

No no, not snowman, taste bad.
Back to the beginning.

Wildflowers

These are some pretty little wildflowers growing in the back yard.
They're not daisies- because they're tons smaller than
daisies. they just look bigger because sister took them real close.

Remember when my snow peas died? I was pretty sad.
they were my first crops to go.
But....
look at how well they're doing? with the cold
fall weather, they came back from the dead!

Here they are sprouting peas again!

I'm so proud of my snow peas.

Here i am, scouting the 'way back' of the yard.
I'm making sure no dumb old kids come climbing in.
they like it here because it's secluded.
However...
i better not ever catch them in here!


I'll just wait.
they'll never know.

For real. Sister got in my face with the stupid camera on monday and took lots of shots so i could update my blog. however, she's lazy. And hasn't gotten them up here yet.

I promise they are coming though! Hopefully tomorrow or this weekend!

Halloween Is Coming!

Friends, i don't know if you've heard the news or not, but HANSEL, my little nephew, is hosting a halloween contest!

Easy Sunday Morning.

Ahhh sunday morning.
Nothing better than relaxing in the sun,
outside,

Lately i haven't been cooperating much for sister's photos.
She asks me to sit somewhere
and i run off.
She wanted me in front of a bunch of plants.

I gave her the paw, and laid where i wanted to.
I am after all, a princess.
AND if you're going to go and get yourself another dog,
i don't have to listen to you at all.

See this really nice pedestal?
Remember, mom got it from sister
one year for her birthday. It was plain white then.
Mom painted it to make it look beautiful.
AND she found the perfect pot to go on it,
some vines, and grapes!

Humane Society

From now until Nov 7th sister will be once again collecting funds for the Humane Society. She did the walk and wag a thon last year, and this year ben will get to go!

Remembering the weekend troubles.

Sister brought Ben by this weekend.
He was REAL annoying.
I made sure to bark really loud in his ear.

Sometimes you just can't get kids to stop.

Fall is here

One of the easiest ways in the house
to tell what season it is...
just take a look at the German Beer Stein.

The orange sparkle leaves are fake-
however, the brown punks are real!

did you know that you if you light the punks outside,
the smoke they produce will keep mosquitoes at bay?

I love fall, the crisp air that makes it possible for me
to stay outside for long periods of time.
