Monday again.
I'm sick of this.
But this week is THANKSGIVING!

I think i might sleep until then.

I can't wait for turkey. Do you guys get turkey?
Just don't eat any skin or gravy- it's real bad for you!
but turkey is ok in small amounts!

Saturday Blankets.

Sister taught mom how to make fleece blankets.
So mom wanted to make some nice christmas ones.

The bag of fabric is next to me here.

It's not an easy task, this blanket making.

I also supervised this hard task.
And tested the blanket for softness.

seems pretty soft.

i approve this fabric.

Here, see i am teaching mom how to do this.

It's hard work but someone has to do it!

Can you believe the holidays are right around the corner?
this year is moving so fast, it's making my fuzzy head hurt.

Finally Friday: Just me.

Now it's my turn to enjoy my yard by myself.
Here i am posing with... a pepper? and a pine cone.
Some sort of strange shot sister asked me to do.

Sister this pepper is still good. Lets take it to dad.

and with my glycoflex that i take, i can do them when it's nice out.
My arthritis is bad in nasty weather.

Thursday Fun

We went out to the 'way back' of the yard.
i love it back there.
so much room to run. Mom
says i have to be careful though because sometimes there are holes
in the earth that try to grab doggie feets.

So we stay clear of that.
here is ben running. He is nothing like me running.

He can't catch me if i go full speed. here i am trotting along.

Sometimes ben is alright. When he's playing way over there.

Sister has ALMOST had him for a year. January he'll be
here and annoying me for officially one year.
This will be his first thanksgiving and christmas with us.

Somehow i think thanksgiving and christmas will be extra annoying.

It's been since it happened.
And i didn't even know.

Letter To Hana

Dear Hana,

I'm so sad you left me my dearest friend. You were the first dog to leave me a comment on my blog, way back in May, of 2007. You showed me all about blogging, and even did a wonderful post on your blog to help people find me and helped me make friends.

You were kind to me and even told your mom what kind of ribbon necklaces to make me. I wear them proudly, and I prance around every time i wear them. Now every time i wear them, i will prance higher and remember you and your kindness.

I hope that you will watch over your family hana, and know they are worried about you. I know you have made it to the bridge and are happily waiting there for them. You must remember that you have a very big responsibility to help those who will follow you to the bridge. Light their way, as you've lit the way for all of us the past 3 years you've been blogging. You always helped everyone here- and i know you'll make the best angel.

Please watch over all your friends. One day hana i hope to finally get to meet you and tell you how much we all love you when i meet you at the bridge. I know that you are watching, and you are still with us, but i still miss you lots.

We miss you hana. We miss you lots. We have cried lots for you. We lit a candle for you last night- we know you already found your way to the bridge, but just in case, we will do it every night this week. We will never ever ever forget you and your kindness, and we hope that your family will heal soon. We know it'll never completely go away- but we want them to be at peace as you are.
