Just another saturday.

Sister said they had a meeting today, and used me as an example! well... not really, my doctor just used my name for a pet example... but even still... that means they like me, right?

anyway, not much to post except this really cute picture of me when i was just a puppy. When i first came to live with my hoomans, it was summer time, and whenever i got really hot... whether i was in the house or outside, i would put my paw paws in my water dish...

Hi guys

Hi!

nothing really new and exciting happening around here- just a few problems really.

Well, i dont know if you guys know anything about "anal glands" (i wouldnt read that if you get disgusted easily), but i had a problem recently with mine. I had an abscess occur, and rupture... which was quite painful for me. Sister made sure to get me an appointment with one of the best doctors- not my usual doctor, but another one i've seen when i was sick (she's best with medications and he's best with shots and compassion, but they're both the very best with surgeries and together an excellent team).


Anyway, she gave me some antibiotics that i have to take, and all that, its a good thing for those, i'm already starting to feel better. Mom and sister are worried that this will be a new problem for me and i would have to have my glands removed, but that could cause different problems as well.

I go back on the 8th for a recheck.



Then yesterday, sister came over all upset, it was her day off but she had come from work- at 8 in the morning.

Apparently my niece had something happen to her while she was in the laundry room, they think she was jumping and missed a shelf, and caused trauma to her eye. Sister said she actually could see blood filling in her eye.

Her pupil constricted, and sister thought she was blind.


However, she got to go home later that day, after the same doctor that took care of me this time saw her, and checked for scratches- there weren't any - and put her on two different eye medications.

The kitten holds her eye open now, and its just dilated from the one drop, and it looks like theres just a little tiny bit of blood left in it. But, the reason the pupil constricted was because of pain, and that she's actually not blind at all.

poor sister was a mess.

She goes back in on monday for a recheck.

But everything is good again, and my niece has gone back to tearing up the house.

Ahhh... to be a kid again.

But, i was never a bad pup.

I was probably the bestest pup ever. This kid's got a lot to learn.

So as many of you were wondering i'm sure about my niece... here she is. She likes to hide under the bed and then reach for you to pet her.



Sister says she also likes to sleep on you whenever she can.



Apparently she runs around like a maniac playing and then curls up and sleeps forever.

Silly cats.

Mom is allergic to her, so she cant be around her very long... which makes me quite happy i must say. She's my mom and no one else can have her!

Sister came over to visit for a few minutes. I made it quite clear that i needed a nice cookie, and i took her to the pantry and made her give me one. i wasnt taking no for an answer. And who could refuse me anyway? Besides, she ups and leaves me here, she best gimme a cookie. She's lucky i still talk to her at all.

I gave her bit of a cold shoulder today. I'm sure she didnt like it very much.

she kept calling me over so i slept under the desk.

I'll teach her.

Sisters home.

Sister just came home today, but its my turn to go on a relaxing trip with my parents and brother, so i won't get to see her for 1 more day.

However i heard the sad news.

She and her husband are getting a kitty.

I HATE kitties.

And apparently the kitty hates doggies.

I dont know how this is all going to work out. I guess we just have to be real careful when i visit the house.

I hope to have new pictures reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal soon.

The big day.

Sister gets married today. I've been told that i'm to host the pawty that my mutti is having after the reception for our side of the family. I have been putting everything together deciding everything i need to do for this.



Sister took pictures of one of our decorations, and i snuck into the picture. I dont want to be left out! i've done a lot of hard work.




So today i'm gonna sit back, relax and wait to do my job.

So, sister is going to be away on her honeymoon this week, so... i probably won't be back on until next week.... hope all goes well with all of you, doggie friends. Keep me informed of all your good times!

Lazy Wednesdays

Today my sister told me to follow her outside. I should've known. More pictures.

blaaaaaah. But its so nice outside... and its been so hot lately so she wanted to get a picture of me in the nice weather. Although i doubt later anyone will remember that was the reason for it.



I was told to sit in front of this big tree out back... but instead i sat next to it... in the sun... so i almost blinded sister... but thats where i wanted to be...




See... here i am again. But i dont sit still very long today. i have things to smell!



While i'm sniffing, sister tried to get a shot, however, i heard grammy coming to the house, and i looked up real fast, and sister got this shot. She thinks its probably the best picture of me she's ever taken. A lucky shot. So she changed it to my main picture.




And of course, since grammy was home, i needed her to let me go inside. Pleaaaaaaaaaase i have to go howl and say hi!!!!

thats my afternoon so far. Hope everyone else is having fun!

What next

So here i am guys, you have no idea what i had to go through. A bath. All just cuz people will be here from out of town for the wedding. Stupid sister. its all her fault.

She'll be moving out forever and that makes me really sad.

However, throwing this bath in didnt make me much happier.






Sister tried to catch me doing some zoomies after my bath... however i wasnt much in the mood, and all i did was just lay around. I was exhausted! What did she expect.

So i'd act like i was going to do something fun and exciting, and then i'd just lay there.




I wish sister didn't have to go...

Where do you think YOU"RE going?

Sister decided to really take pictures of me last night and this morning. Shhhheeezzz.... i got kinda bored after a while.

Also if you ever see me refer to my mom as Mutti- it means mommy in german. And, being i'm a full german dog... its only natural... sometimes my native tongue slips out... And Vatti is Daddy.

Last night, while i was looking in my box to find the perfect toy to play with....



I heard vatti come down the stairs with a suitcase. The nerve! Trying to sneak out without telling me, or bringing me! I was quite offended. I stopped what i was doing... and decided to teach him a lesson.

By the stairs he had taken off his shoes... so that he wouldnt track them through the house... mutti HATES when he tracks dirt through the house... I decided to steal them.



First i got my head in there reaaaaaaaaaaaaaal good. And sniffed around.




Then i tried to eat the shoe. But its tougher than it looks.





Sister got this embarrassing picture of me right after a good whiff. I mean come on, his smelly foot was in it allllll day. Did you think it would be good? Baaaaaaaaaaah.

Then i tried a different tactic... I tried to make him stay by taking off his sock!





Even though i got the sock, he still took it back and left anyway. What a horrible thing to do. After all that hard work... he still left.

But sister still wanted to take pictures. I think she thought she could distract me from the fact that he left... but i still am sad.



Mutti just got some new plants, and sister let me take a good look. Mutti painted those pots herself. Aren't they lovely? mutti loves Egypt stuff! Don't tell her i had my paws in the plant... she wouldnt be very happy.




Sister loves making me sit and pose. But i'm easily distracted by someone walking upstairs.

My left foot sometimes slides out sideways from under me... do any of you other eskies have that problem? My hoomans think its cute. I think they're silly.

And then this morning, my sister still didnt put away the camera. Something about wanting to show everyone how cute i am. Dont they know i'm a tough kid? Jeez. So... i made her play cookie.

Its only fair, making me pose allllllllllllllllllll day.



So i growled and waited for her to play. Sometimes i have to really try to get their attention and MAKE them play with me. Come on guys!



So i barked at sister and growled a bit, to make her know i mean business. its my turn to have some fun.




Nummy cookies.... so in the end, i had a lot of pictures taken, and got to chew on dads socks and shoes... AND i got to play cookie. What else could you ask for?
