Sister was going to get lots of pictures of me today.

However, mom just told her we're going out of town for the weekend. Dad decided we should take advantage of the beautiful weather here.

So instead, sister will be walking with benny by herself. :(

I would like to go, but my family will take me on long walks too! I'm excited about going away.

And no, benny didn't leave room for me in the back seat- but that's because i don't sit back there with him. My dad was in the car- and i STAND on his lap looking out the window- in the FRONT seat!

I can't be in the back with a commoner like benny.

I am royalty remember.

Wow, it was so nice on saturday.
Benny and i got to do lots of exploring.
I missed that.
Sister says he's doing so well at home.
She's very excited!

Benny sat for a rest during our long walk. Sister
took this opportunity to take all kinds of photos.

Finally Friday

I'm thinking about my birthday.
It's next month,
May 14th.
I will be 8 years old.
Can you believe that?

Sister had mom take me to the dr. man last week.
I've started some medication called 'GlycoFlex II'
for arthritis. This supplement will help my joints.
Sister said i was walking very very stiff. And the dr. man saw it too.

But since i've been taking it, i've been much better!
I can do stairs a lot faster,
and it seems to be all i needed!
AND!
I didn't even need a nail trim!
:)

Thursday Thirteen: Things about my weekend past.

Thirteen things about my Easter Weekend.

1. Mom got out ALL of her bunny decorations.
See the little eggs and bunnies all over the mantle?

2. Sister came over, so of course that meant endless
photoshoots.

3. Sister wanted me to show off the blanket she made me
in natural lighting. I didn't feel like doing ANY of this.

4. I look really good next to light pink! On this table is a stein
that sister bought mom a few years ago...

5. There is a little bunny eared frog on the table
that my boy got my mom a few years ago.

6. And a basket that is filled with little eggs
that sister hand painted when she was in sunday school
almost 14 years ago!

7. Out in the front hallway, we have a small basket of eggs.
This is made up of all the eggs mom the bunny
used to hide around the house for the boy and sister.

8. My dad got his tomato seeds ready for planting.
I will be watching over them once they go outside.
Right now, dad just got this great new heated green house for
inside the house, to keep them safe.
Dad REALLY likes his plants.
And, you can ask anyone- he has some of the best
crops around!

9. I of course am stuck posing in the front hall
as well as EVERY OTHER ROOM in the house.
So i can't supervise dad and his plants right now.

10. On the dining room table, is a nice chick bowl-
filled with solid pastel colored eggs.
We love displaying eggs!

11. Some of sister's loot. She's had this same basket since she
was just a baby.

12. Here is a close up of the plastic eggs from the hallway.
If you turn them over, each one has a letter on it.
To help the kids distinguish their eggs from one another-
mom put the child's first initial on them.

13. Of course the stein that sits on the dining room table,
adorned always with beautiful flowers.
Calla lilies, easter lilies,
lily of the valley,
some other white flowers,
and a touch of pink for color.

Then at the base, more of the kid's eggs!
mom thinks it didn't belong,
but sister and i think it made the table extra special!

Tales on a tuesday: the boy's bottle

There i was.
Just resting happily on a bean bag.
The boy's bean bag.
However, now it's mine.

What?
I use it more than he does anyway!

When i noticed, he dropped his empty water bottle...
right within reach of my mouth.
Naturally, i grabbed it up.

Alright, who wants to play water bottle?
Come on! grab it out of my teeth!

I won't getcha, i promise!
just grab onto the bottle...

MINE MINE MINE!

Then i grew bored of the water bottle game.
And set out for a nap instead.

Easter Time Fun

I wake mid morning... to find something strange
upon my stairs, there was a small
teeny tiny paw print...

I followed them around my house...
i was definitely on the trail...
but to what? i couldn't smell anything on these prints...
strange.

Into the living room i did go,
never losing sight of these strange little prints.

At the end... a lambie baby! just for me!
how fantastic!
The bunny comes to good little
pups too!

Hello lambie. I'm going to
eat you now.

She did not struggle, for she knew she
was no match for the
white wolf.

I carried her off to show the world my new friend.
She never protested.

A good friend,
is one that lets you bite them
and carry them around
and knows that's what friends are for.
:)

Right little lambie?

We checked out my boy's easter basket together.

And i will pose and sit happily with my new lambie friend.
And she and i will go on wild adventures!
We'll be friends forever!

At least until i get a new toy.
Then she'll just get added to the collection
you can sort of see in the room
next to me.
